New York Life: AiC Architecture is presently designing the renovation of each of New York Life’s five existing buildings on their Tampa campus, a total of 230,000 SF. The renovations include new systems furniture, offices, & conference rooms. New open collaboration & huddle rooms were created to promote spontaneous collaboration. The existing café was expanded to meet the needs of the growing campus. A 4,000 SF full service gymnasium was constructed adjacent to the café including an aerobics room & locker rooms. The CEO requested a sleek, refined new board room to reflect his personality. The room seats 22 at the custom built frosted white glass conference table & 27 along the perimeter of the room. A separate waiting area & kitchen reside behind the 20’ Modular Arts feature wall. Mini conference rooms were designed within the NYLF call center as one on one rooms for managers & staff to meet. In addition, huddle areas were created for staff to congregate without occupying a conference room.
